About the class:
Duration: Each session is about an hour (including an 8-10 minute cool down)
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Equipment needed for the class: A pair of light/medium weights (water bottles or canned goods are great substitutes) and a mat or towel. This class can be done in sneakers, grip socks, or barefoot (I recommend sneakers if you are working out on a hard surface).
This class combines boxing and resistance training all while moving to the beat of the music. The boxing sets will elevate your heart rate and the resistance training will help tone your muscles.
About the coach:
My name is Bern and I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years. I have taught barre and indoor rowing classes and am also trained in SRT and Piloxing SSP and Piloxing Barre. Since the lockdown started, I have been teaching virtual classes for studios as well as running my own cardio boxing and resistance training workouts. I have also started to take dance classes again and continue to take other fitness classes from home. I try to keep my classes fun and energetic, but am also mindful about giving modifications for different clients.
